These just in:
Arundel St Enhancement Scheme. Includes a plateau at the Arundel St/Charles St junction and a contra-flow cycle lane on part of Charles ST (Which is odd because I thought there already was one)
Notre Dame High School. A new building will replace a current car park. Parking restrictions are being introduced in the neighbouring streets to limit the effects of additional on-street parking. This area is notorious for congestion caused by schoolkids being delivered by their parents in Chelsea tractors.
Foxhill & Main Rd, Darnall -medical centres. Measures to control parking and reduce speeds in the vicinity of the new medical centres currently being constructed.

Hi Simon,
Any idea where the docs are for the Penistone Cycle Track extension that is being constructed at the moment?
Any relevant TROs?
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt, do you mean the Penistone Rd extension from Livesey St to Hillsborough Leisure centre? If so, no haven't seen any TRO's (it's off-road so wouldn't necessarily need any.) If you have any concerns about it we can raise them via the City Cycle Forum.
Hi Simon,
Yes, that is the path I'm talking about.
I do have some concerns about it, but nothing more than the standard criticisms, perhaps the facility is better than no facility, (lots of side roads, lack of sight of cars turning into side roads due to street furniture, crossings set far back from the main carriageway, narrow shared use areas that go through busy crossing waiting points, the segregated path going directly towards a lighting control box).
Anyway... What is the City Cycle Forum? I think I'd be interested in getting involved.
Matt
